Chair
Alan Till
Alan is a local councillor and has been for nearly 14 years. He works part time as a deputy manager in a hostel were the residents have enduring mental health problems. He has done this job for 8 years after spending over 35 years in engineering. He trained as a toolmaker at a diesel engine manufacturer in Stafford Staffs and worked in the Aero Space Industry for 25 years doing mainly research and development. He has served on the board for 15 years.
Treasurer
Ian Turner
Ian has been a Board Member for three years, and took over as a Treasurer to the Board from Roy Ashton in January 2009. Ian is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy and has had forty years experience in public sector finance, serving in both the NHS and University sectors, including spells as Director of Finance at St George's Medical School, and Goldsmiths, both constituent colleges of the University of London. Ian took early retirement from the post of Director o Resources and Planning at Goldsmiths in April 2007.
Secretary
David Wambebe
David is the Chief executive Officer of Ilderton Foundation. He has worked for Ilderton at a senior level for 8 years. Previous to this he has worked in a variety of managerial jobs within the charity sector.
Board Members
Father Owen Beament
Father Beaument is the local priest at All Saints Church Deptford. He has served on the board for 6 years and is an MBE.
Michael Claridge
Michael is director of business relations and head of office for Business and Community Development at Goldsmiths College. He is also on the board of Lewisham Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the board for 7 years.
Julia Fletcher
Julia is a councillor for Downham Ward and a member of the Children and Young People Select Committee in Lewisham. She is also a school governor at Downderry Primary School. She has a BA in History from Exeter University, an MA in English local and regional history from Goldsmith's College and an MA in Library and information studies from University College London. She works part time as a legal librarian for a city law firm and previously worked as a children's librarian. She has served on the board for 5 years.
